This was last night at Clos du Val's "A Night in Paris." My cousin Wendy's a club member there, and we all had a great time--we're full of CHEESE, the great Cabernet Sauvignon (we tried the '90, '99, and newly released '01; Chris swears he had a '98 but we don't believe him). The band Blue Moon was swinging, and it was fun dancing and having a great time with everyone!!

My upstairs neighbors Michelle & Amanda. This was Tuesday night 8/2 in the plaza for some yummy chicken, pasta salads, brie, jack cheese, prosciutto & a baguette, with a little Chardonnay. We ended the evening getting some candy store candy and content that this is one of the best towns in the country. Small town fla-vah with some big city garnish! Thanks, all, for a great evening!

Dinner at Palazzio in Santa Barbara last night. That's me, Gen Bitter, Jen & Jason. This was the end of a long road trip from which I just got back (drove over 1,000 miles). Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Paula, Matt, & their kids Finn & Ashlinn, where I stayed Friday night for some good lasagna & a long talk about quantum physics. Thanks, everyone, for a wonderful time. I have great friends & family & I love you all!!
