Happy Mother's Day Wine Tasting Outing. That's mom, me, dad, Wendy, Jim & Sharon at Arista for a fabulous picnic! Yummy salads & all sorts of stuff, and tasty lemon coconut squares. We started the day with Armida (we all agreed at the end that they had the most good wines), Roshambo, and one other one; ate here, and moved on down the Russian River, which is known for Pinot Noir and sparkling wines. Great day!!  

That's a wild turkey as we were leaving Arista. We went on to Davis Bynum, Gary Farrell, and Korbel for bubbles to end the day.  

That's my hot ride--thank goodness it had A/C yesterday, as it got to 98 degrees in Healdsburg! From pouring rain to summer in two weeks.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been trying to refinance my condo since February 1st. Working tomorrow for Barrel Tasting at the winery--should be crowded, but fun. Looking forward to Mom & Dad's visit in a few weeks. :-)

Lots of people looking at the Russian River in Hbg. TV crew was there as well. Right now, they're evacuating people in Guerneville & low-lying areas.

Christmas morning in Oxnard this year. I believe that's Santa Cruz, one of the Channel Islands. This was taken on my parents' deck--later the fog rolled in pretty quickly. 

I have a new car!! Well, I finally decided on a 2006 Honda Civic EX, "Galaxy Gray." I'll post pics soon. Thanks, Niteen, for helping me purchase--you saved me a bundle! I can't believe it!! :-) 

Hopefully, today I will be buying a new car! I'm going to try to get a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. I've looked at tons of used cars; almost bought an Altima, but backed out at the last minute. Hope you all had a great holiday, and best wishes for a happy 2006!
