Sorry I haven't published in a while. I've been very, very busy. In fact, Spring Break in a couple weeks will be spent in the beautiful little town of Healdsburg in a condo I've secured for the week. No airports or long drives involved.
I've been doing a lot for my work: going to a SIOP conference in Seattle, the CLMS conference in Sacramento, and many, many release days with my department and at the district office for a lot of professional collaboration. While my students barely recognize me (I joke with them that I should wear a name card), I am becoming well-versed in Professional Learning Communities, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (ibna.com?), and Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol: all very different programs, but all beneficial.
It was great seeing you all over the holidays, and looking forward to just a short time before summer begins (5/31/08 for me) and a new niece on the way.
Jen & I both turn 40 this summer--the sky's the limit on that one so far!
Love you,
Jocelyn
