Amy Spain & I in Les Mars lobby after dinner at Cyrus last night. Here's the menu of one of the best meals we'll ever have: Amuse Bouche; Thai Marinated Lobster with Avocado, Melon, and Hearts of Palm; Sea Bass with Sweet Corn and Spring Onions, Mussel-Saffron Sauce; Roasted Porcini Risotto with Parmesan Broth; Soft Shell Crab with Smoked Soba Noodles, Oolong Broth; Crispy Poussin with Potato Puree, Haricots Verts and Morels; Mignardises. All paired with fantastic wines, my favorite being an Italian Barolo (the grape is nebbiolo). Today, munching on leftover brownie, going swimming, then BBQ in the backyard with Nancy & Brent, then to Sebastopol for Cameron's 40th. What a week! I'm doing nothing except read & rest for the rest of the summer (until Seattle at the end of July)!
